PHILIPSBURG/AUSTRIA………..The Ombudsman, Dr. Nilda Arduin left on Friday, October 24th 2014 to Vienna, Austria to attend the IOI board meeting. Dr. Arduin is one of the board of directors representing the Caribbean and Latin America Region.
The topics to be discussed are among others : general matters relating to the general operation of the IOI Institute, such as financial matters, membership, individual matters relating to the various regions that make up the membership, corporation with foreign relations such as the UN and the World Bank, IOI strategic plan for 2015, the world conference scheduled in 2016 and the various training projects. One of the training to be discussed is the Anti Corruption Training which was scheduled to take place in Argentina, but had to be postponed due to the untimely death of the Ombudsman of that Country.
