Ombudsman does walk through in St. Peters

Philipsburg – Complaints regarding, among others, the constant run off of sewage water in the public road, unsafe roads and unhygienic living conditions in St. Peters, prompted the Ombudsman to send one  of the complaint officer, Mrs. Lysandra William and the legal Advisor Mr. Marlon Hart to take a firsthand look at the problems in the neighborhood.

The walk through was led by St. Peters resident, Mr. Rene “Koto” Wilson.

Stops along the route included the Lemon road, the St. Peters road and the Genip road.

Public Express Concerns

During the walk through several residents of the area came out to express their concerns and grievances about the situation. While the Ombudsman is reviewing the complaints filed by Mr. Wilson, the concerned residents were advised to make their grievances known to the proper authorities prior to filing a complaint with the Ombudsman.

The Ombudsman will be investigating the list of complaints related to the issues brought to her attention.
